Do what you want to it. I would find a set of fluted cranks that match it's vintage and paint it.

You've got an old-ass Bianchi with celeste paint. What do you think people are going to say?

A lot of old forks look like that, but aren't. At least, they are incredibly symmetrical, show no physical damage, and still ride very well.

the fork is slightly bent... (i think it looks bent because it is turned slightly.) but it is almost unnoticeable. you have to get in there to tell really.

I'd paint it, Celeste of course, then ride it. Crappy paintjobs invite rust.

thats what i ws thinking... i would keep it celeste... but maybe leave the lugs chrome. (maybe.) but also.. this is an entry level bianchi... so is it really worth it? i also want to find the original decals so i can restore it.

That bike is how I love bikes to be....
Get some nice shiny fenders, fluted cranks (Campy), and you are set. If you repaint, get the old stickers replaced. Ask the guy in C&V that does it.
Badass bike.

again... i dont think the cottered crank is there any more... this is not the original set up...
this is what it looks like on an original:
(from a sale on ebay for the exact same bike as mine but untouched for a while.)
i am pretty sure there is a new bottom bracket in there... here is a close-up on the under carrige...
i dont know if this helps... but hey... its what i got right now.
