Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? too bad i got hit by a car while riding it. but as a testament to why old steel, lugged bikes are the best, its being brought back from the grave. two new tubes, and a dope new paintjob (pearl white with gold undertones) is in the works. already got an identical replacement wheelset, thanks to thisisforever.

Early 60's Reg Harris. Multiple World Champ on the track he only made bikes for 3 years before going bankrupt. Reynolds 531, Nervex Lugs. I'm selling this complete minus the wheelset for $200, as I need some cash.

Are you kidding me? I like that setup. Just a little black cloth half-wrap on the bars, and some plugs and you're set.

Actually, from the looks of things in that picture, the Dow Corning Corporation would be more to thank than Canada.
