Yeah, the 1/32" difference will rip off the teeth and spray them into your legs!

It's completely fine. There is a slight chance of increased chain deraillment because of the extra 1/32" play, but adequate chain tension and a good chainline will prevent that.

I just don't want to jack a new dura ace chain ring because I'm impatient.

did you do a search to see if it was there?
sometimes I'm just lazy.
I knew it would work just didn't want to make my new fancy chainring dinged up because of a tiny bit of slack.

It is how I am running at the moment because I have a 1/8" cog and 3/32" chainring. I do notice it is a little noisier though, I suppose it is the chain sliding around on the ring.
