Where to find certain Nitto items...

Does anyone know of any US distributors that can get any item from the Nitto catalog?

Two things I'm specifically looking for is Nitto's Neat (can't remember the product number) STI-specific road bar and the Nitto Dinamic626 seatpost in 26.8 diameter. The first one is available through Soma, but not in the width I want. They also pop up on Ben's Cycle and Fitness in the polished silver I'm looking for. But as for the seatpost, I'm pretty much at a loss.

I figure this forum would be a good place to start.

Maybe he means bars with only a single groove rather than double groove?

Basically what Shiznaz said. Single cable groove in the bar. There also seems to be a specific way they're bent that mates up with Shimano's shifters (my guess based on photos). That's also how Nitto is identifying them.

EDIT: Also, thanks for the leads Serendipper and Retem.

Check your local bike shop. Developing an internet presence by selling hot items (Ben's Bikes, Business Cycles, etc) seems to make people think that local bike shops simply can't get the hot items. Many, many shops have accounts with the distributors of these items and would be thrilled to put together an order for you. Keep in mind that the more obscure stuff for some local shops will need to be put on orders from distributors with high minimums (EAI's is $100). If you know you're getting a few things, make 'em happy and put together a large order.

a lot of shops will be more than willing to get you what you need. There is a shop near me that mostly does higher end roads bikes are more than willing to order stuff for me. I've noticed that since I've been bringing my fixed there, I've spotted a 2 fixies on there floor. Coincidence, I don't know, but I know I've never seen them there before that.
