Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Cassette, I ordered a Level a couple of months back. A few things I learned. 1. Matsuda-san only deals in cash. 2. No posting overseas (anymore) 3. JIS bottom bracket only.

But I also learned he's a great guy. Speaks hardly any English, but didn't mind that my Japanese is poor. Well worth visiting him.

Here are some before and after shots......(although the raw one is actually a different customers frame, identical apart from seat/top tube size)

That front wheel makes my pants a bit tighter. I love twisted spoke wheels, but I've never even thought about the possibility of mixing colored spokes. Hottt.
