sorry to hijack this a bit, but y'all seem to know about bike shops in tokyo... any recs for bike shops that have japanese road parts/frames? every damn store i've been to is full of european stuff. been to hasegawa also and it's rad, but those fancy-lugged toei randonneur frames are not really my thing. i'm here for the rest of the week and will be seriously bummed if i don't at least see a frame i'd want to buy (or some fun weird shimano parts).

i asked a dude at carnival if he knew of any bike shops that stocked older parts, and he said, we have older parts, njs campagnolo high flange track hubs, look, only one hundred trillion yen. i said, i don't like campagnolo, i like shimano. he got a weird look on his face when i said that.

Lots of neat stuff you maybe can't buy- Punch in Asakusa
More Japaneezy stuff than Euro, but not as much road bike stuff.

Maybe less neat stuff, but you cna buy it-- https://www.cypara.com/access.html
More older bikes than older parts though, and tends to Euro stuff too.

Also, Jingane out on the Keio Line has more of the Hasegawa scene.

Thanks, i went by Cycly between Shinjuku and Harajuku today.
Some cool stuff just way overpriced on the frames. Not that I need one but always looking.
A few cool parts that were priced ok but nothing was purchased.
I rode about 20 miles today in this heat. I feel like hell.

Anyone know a good place to get Toshi single straps? Ive look all around at the usual spots and havent seen any.

I have never been to this shop, but an older guy I know who is a bike enthusiast swears this is one of the coolest shops around called Kino****a Cycle that has all the cool old stuff because the shop has been around forever:

https://www.new-cycling.co.jp/shoptan.../kino****a.htm

It is out in Kanagawa off past Yokosuka. Shouldn't be that bad of a train ride from Tokyo (1hr and half or so?).
Keihin Kyuko line/get off at Kanazawa Bunko Station/should be a 3 minute walk or not even.
Get off the train and ask someone where Kino****a Cycle is.
