Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

What Else Would We Purchase As A Group?

Being that we went there...

What are some of the components you would like to organize a group purchase for?

Well if I get the frame, I need everything else...so build kit or complete entry level bike (if I don't get a frame).

messenger bags might make sense. Not that I need one.

Tires? Tubes? Chains? Kool stop salmon pads? Champ grips? something like that might be a good idea...

Let's get a consensus and put together some categories for future group purchases...

Groupos
Cranksets
Wheelsets
Hubsets
Headsets
Stem/Bar/Seatpost
Saddles
Fixed Gear Specific Toolkit
etc..

It would get more people on better gear and bring business to participating dealers and save $$$!!!

You'd probably need nothing more than a business license and a mailing address.

are you serious? if so I've got some old pitted cup and spindle bottom brackets you can buy.

just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it's not important.
