Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Roadmaster Little 500

I was wandering Minneapolis today and they have a Roadmaster Little 500. How legit arethese bikes, it looks like a really fun ride. I'm guessing it is a coastered brake bike. I didn't really look at it too closely, I just remembered the Little 500 from Breaking away. They also had a Berringer (sp?) track bike, but unfortunatly it was a little pricey for my tastes. I'm going to start playing the lottery.

That is all.

Goodbye.

how many do they have? they are not for sale to the public- only 2 go to each little 500 team each year. my old assistant coach lives in the minneapolis area & got his jacked, so maybe it's his! (and yes, it is a coaster brake.)

There is only one. It is red with yellow letters and stuff. I think it was a 57 or 56cm. I don't really remember any details.

I know this is a zombie thread, but I thought it could use some pictures. I picked this up in Tucson of all places. Cool bike.
