Should I buy a Formula, Harris Cyclery, Van Dessel or ?
I'm looking for a decent quality budget hub and I had almost settled on a Formula hub cause they seem to be a popular choice, but none of the LBSs I stopped at yesterday could get them. I got home last night and started looking around and found two other options that look good: the Van Dessel and Harris Cyclery hubs. Anyone have an oppinion on these hubs? Good? Bad? Unknown?
Oh yeah, and does anyone know anything about the Nashbar hub? Are they out of stock? What's the deal, I can't find it anywhere on their site.
Edit: after looking at the formula/IRO and Harris Cyclery hubs a little more, they appear to be identical. Can anyone confirm this? Sheldon maybe?

I know that the Harris hubs are Formulas.
I don't know anything about Van Dessel.
And Nashbars are Dimensions, if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if they are out of stock.

...get something else that doesn't have glass locknuts. You'll have to spend more money now, but you'll save downtime later.

The Harris ones are stupid cheap, but they only have axles long enough for 120mm spacing. If that's you, you're golden.

Have you looked at the Milwaukee Bike Company? They're the same as Nashbar hubs, similar in quality to Formula, and you can get them anodized in eight different colors (ooooh blingy).
Also, IRO are manufactured by Formula. My custom IRO wheelset rocks, so there's another cost-effective option.
Oh yeah, to answer your question, from my research either hub will rock. It comes down to price or aesthetics.

If it is, buy em while they got em!

formula, dimension, nashbar, soma, harris, etc.
All the same hub, just different cut-outs.
