Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

hahaha god i hate the herald.

Funny story a kid i was riding with one time broke his pedal and we stopped at that very bike shop. They apparently didn't have anything useful(surprise!) (i was outside with the bikes)

Boston's very own tabloid magazine that sells. They cover real news, but its the lines like "I guess weed sells better than wheels" in the articles and those two -------- that run the gossip column.

I think the best line was "Alongside the various lubricants, the swinging harness, and cash in a locked box was a stash of sex toys too explicit to recount in a family newspaper. "

actually my favorite part was: " So while some city councilors will scream that we need to put more cops in high-crime areas, I argue that every neighborhood resident, especially the ones paying the highest property taxes, deserve police resources too." (emphasis mine)

Implication that wealthy people are especially deserving of the protection of the police, because they are paying more for it with their property taxes.
