italian track frames

Is there anywhere to read up great Italian track frames? I have a source in Italy and he could attempt to find something for me. Any history/recommendations? Thanks a lot.

classicrendezvous.com might be a good place to start with some initial info on some good builders.

i have a '76 pogliaghi that i'm in love with. i would recommend seeking one out.

I'm going to Italy this summer and was wondering if used Italian track frames are really abundant and fairly inexpensive over there? Kind of like NJS frames in Japan and what. Anyone know particularly good cities/shops I should visit?

Sorry, but NO, they're quite scarce and difficult to find especially in larger sizes.

Maybe you're really lucky and find someting in a small shop nobody looked before but it's difficult
