Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

No, it is horrible. No matter how fast you spin your legs, you won't do well.

but if you do get one than you need to go small, like a 48 if you would normally go with a 55, its alright for allycats but magnas are way better

oh thanks! real answers appreciated. I have a question though—are those shocks? do they make the bike heavier or do I really need them? how much does that run?

Considering the failure rate of Magnas, you will be doing quite a bit of running/walking.

165, you may be telling the truth about the gearing, but you don't fool me—that magna is women's specific... that much I know.

and you call yourself a mod—you should be ashamed.

You have to use hydrochloric acid to remove the stickers.
They always lose every race. Stay away from them.
