Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i will be in town on april 1st through the 9th.
anyone have a beater i could borrow (or whatever)?
i can ride 53cm - 59cm (im riding a 53 right now thats
way too small for me but im ok with it).
also if you have couch or a floor i could crash on
for a day or two (or whatever) that would be killer!!!

Hey... It is pretty possible you could crash on my futon for at least a few nights. If youll recall almost a year ago we had a trade that I kinda f---ed up on. Tried to make it right by sending you something extra, but it would make me feel better if I could offer you up a place to stay.

I would also have a selection of bikes you could choose from (I work at a co-op/youth program that has a fleet of 40+ bikes, unfortunately none of them are fixed gear)

Atom and his package, theres a whole song about the city.

I sit at Rittenhouse Park
and see a guy from TimeCycle
give the finger to a passing motorist and it kind of makes me smile
this is the city of brotherly love and crime
and we only bombed our own city once, one time
I'll show you around the city and where you can't go after dark
and if skating's your thing I'll show you where you cannot skate in LOVE park
the dialer doesn't work on any of our phones but here's the place that we call our home
philly's the place where the mummers are weird
and I do not think the Phillies have won in years
I begged Mayor Rendell and the cops on the street
to have mercy on me and Jen and please blow up South Street
Philadelphia, get to know us
Philadelphia, get to know us
the Philadelphia party can go **** its own face
and yeah sure we got our problems in dealing with race
the statue of William Penn ... sitting all ...
well he's kind of a loner if you look at it from the right angle it looks like he has a *****
Philly's the place where the mummers are weird and i do not think the Sixers have won
in years I begged Mayor Rendell
and the cops on the street
to have mercy on me and Jen and please blow up South Street
Philadelphia, get to know us
Philadelphia, get to know us
hey Brian, did you know Cinderrella's from Philadelphia,
and we have uh Independence Hall here too yeah
but we also got Frank Rizzo and Delaware Avenue YEAH!
Philadelphia, get to know us

This song is about Chicago:

THIS IS THE WINDY CITY AND WE HAVE CRIME BUT NOT THIS WEEK IT'S TOO FUUCKING COLD TO STEAL ANYTHING KILL ANYONE OR SELL CRACK

I guess I should have mentioned it's a hardcore song.

Thank you all and good night.

He stopped being Atom and His Package because he wanted to be in a "more serious" band.
I still love his one man band of awesome.

Too bad all the somewhat medium sized venues in philly are all clear channeled up and if you wanna hear good music theres always some ****ty noise band opening.
