I was wondering where I can get info on the iro group build. [I've been kinda out of the loop here for about six mo. I was in a car accident in the fall and couldnt even think about bikes while not being able to ride one.]

So how does this work? Is there a special code we have to enter. Is the shipping exta. I looked on the IRO site and there wasn't a whole lot o' info. What color is the frame. Any info would be appreciated, I'm very interested in getting one.

The color options are listed on that page. 1" threaded or 1-1/8" threadless frame. It's Dedacciai COM 12.5 tubing (I assume). Same stuff used for the EAI Bareknuckle. I was reading somewhere that it's comparable to Reynolds 853? (Metal dudes feel free to correct me).

We'll probably have the frames in our hands by May/June.

Ok, couple specific questions

1. I'm assuming the 150 does not include the shipping?

2. Does the frame have mountings for a rear brake, or water bottle boses, or cable stops, or is this a clean frame?

3. Is the fork included w/ the frame

1. Don't know.
2. I believe that, unlike the Angus, this bike will have a rear brake mount. No cable stops. I'm not sure about the bottle bosses. There was much hullabaloo in the original thread over that.
3. Yeah, the fork will be included.

psst. take out the screws. and to be honest I am assuming that this has bosses since the two parents of this hybrid bike have them but I have not officialy checked.

also I am not frustrated in the least, I am just seizing every opportunity to mess with these people with questions

I'm looking at photos of the Mark V/Angus and it appears that there is more room between the wheels and frame than my Mercier Kilo TT. But when I look at the geometry it appears to have an even shorter wheelbase and compact geometry! I'm particularly interested in having a more long-ride-happy bicycle than my Mercier, with room for fenders - which the Kilo TT doesn't have up front at all. Any insights?

Yes, I'm interested in a Rob Roy, but a flat black frame for $150 is up my alley. My Mercier was inherited and is a tad too tall for me. So if I can get something that can take fenders while also fitting better, I'm all for it.
