Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Does anyone know where IRO is?

I left 3 e-mails, 1 phone call on answering machine, and 2 phone calls where nobody is picking up.

Are they out of town or just busy? Anyone know the best time to reach them?

everyone says that IRO has great customer service, and they do, when you can get a hold of them. You guys always say that there are so many of these "what happened to iro" threads. If there are so many, that to me says that the customer service isn't all it's said to be. I do understand that its only two people there but they could at lease take 20 minutes at the end of every day to return emails. Just my 2 cents.

Well then, use those two cents to start a two person business where you answer all of your emails.(being an ass, don't take it seriously)

It really is easy to pick up a phone and call him. Email is not reliable due to spam filters and junk mail blockers and all though stuff.

yea youve got a point. I'm not trying to say that it's easy to run a business like that, and when I have dealt with tony he was awesome. But i've been in the same boat where I have been trying to find out about my order and never heard back for about a week. All i'm saying is that maybe they could take a few minutes at the end of every day to reply to messages, whether email or phone.

I'd be willing to be hes spending a couple hours on emails at the end of every day. IRO is a very value oriented company. If you want the phone aswered first ring, he's going to have to hire a salesperson, and you're going to be paying more for the bike. If you want instant service go to the LBS (even that is a stretch!)
