1cm Headset spacer... is there room?

Velo Orange has a rather nice tapped 1cm headset spacer to mount a bell on. My 1" threaded headset has a 1/2 cm spacer. Can one of you please let me know how to figure out whether there will be space? Sorry in advance for being such a noob.

how tight is your top cap??? you could always get a shorter stack height headset too make up the difference

It's a threaded setup. I'm going to go with "no" for an answer.

It *might* work, but it doesn't seem worth ordering it to find out. If it makes you feel better this style of bell mounted on a stem rings constantly. It's a bit annoying really.

np here is a pick of how I mount my bell on a threaded bike
Ilike having bells on my bikes they are kinda nice and add a little polite outta my way to the ride

unscrew your headset top nut, take off the spacer, and measure the amount of fork sticking out..

Yeah, as they said you can just mount it to your stem since its threaded, here's a picture of my setup. I have the second tt lever hooked up to the bell handle so I can just hit the spare lever and ring my bell, and it never gets old when drinking.

Left side drive is the coolest.

I have one of the velo orange brass bells. It worked out perfectly because otherwise I would've had to cut a little off my fork(or use spacers). It looks good and has a very nice ding.
ps-the brake lever operated bell is a dope idea.
