New build component questions

I have a custom frame being built by Don Walker. Its a singlespeed, not a fixie.
It will have brakes. The bike will have bullhorns with those cool TT cane creek levers.
Here is the issue. I need brakes that allow me to remove wheels/tires easily. I'm
hoping to go with mostly Campy components but new Campy brakes don't have the
little tab that loosens the brake so the wheel can be removed. The Can Creek levers don't have any sort of release mechanism like newer campy brake levers.
I guess I could just go with all Shimano components or maybe look for an older Campy set of brakes.
Or maybe I could use a different TT style brake lever?

options not mentioned:

shimano brakes and campy pista group
with skinny rims and 20mm tires you might not need any sort of release.

I had a custom SS built by another Texas builder last year. I ended up using Tekro brake in the rear. It has a quick release. This brake has meduim/long reach and it worked better when using different sized cog/freewheels. I found short reach brakes did work as well when you slid the wheel back to get proper chain tension

I have a Dura Ace 7700 25th anniversary brake in the front and the high gloss is virtually the same with the two brakes. I rubbed off the Tekro logo on the rear brake..

As Dirtyphotons said, you probably won't need any sort of release, with upto 23mm tyres. I've had to run a front brake on my winter track bike at my Velodrome, as it's off season and open to all bikes, so you must have at least one brake, and although I have a Shimano brake on it up front, I never release the lever as the wheel comes out just fine without needing to.

I usually run 23's so maybe I could get away with using newer Campy brakes without the little release tabs. Thanks DaSy, I consider going that route.

One other option. I could have gone with V brakes or something similiar but I just don't like the way they look, although they do allow for alot of tire sizes.

You need special bosses to put on V's, Canti's, or discs, and they would all severely uglify your bike. Unless it's a cross monster.

If you do go w/o campy....set the brake so that you can use the cable barl. to open as you need it...as in set the brake with the barl all the way in...

This is what I read.

I don't actually have any advice on brakes. Everything everyone else said sounds good.
