Stolen PAKE PHILADELPHIA

My bike was stolen Saturday night from 40th and chestnut. It's a black Pake with an orange Deep V in the front and a black weinman in the back. It has a cane creek headset and a soma stem. It may still have the lock attached to it. I've gotten stolen bikes back before so hopefully this works again.
I also have stickers on it to have PAKE spell PAKE'MON. And a kryptonite sticker I think.

This guy obviously doesnt give a rats ass about his bike! did he lock it up? No! AND has had bikes stolen before Guess you'll never learn your lesson huh? I'm not going to "keep an eye out" for your bike, you were stupid enough to leave it out unlocked for the bike theives (AGAIN!) and trying to have others find it for you AGAIN! You find it! and if you do, leave it out unlocked again so it can be stolen, Id like to see you pop in from time to time Get a new bike and LOCK THE ****ING THING UP WHEN YOU LEAVE IT UNATTENDED!

If telling the guy the truth makes me a D O U C H E so be it, but ask yourself what that makes you for not trying to get this guy to lock up his ****ing bike when he's not around

another thing, has he even logged on to see if anyone caught a glimpse of his stolen bike? NOT! If it were me I'd be here every ****ing day!
Tells you how much he really cares about having his bike stolen.

I read this as s/he locked it up and whoever stole it cut through whatever it was locked to. Happens.

Apparently philly has recently passed NYC as the city with the most bike thefts....

sorry about your bike. If the lock is still attached, what was the bike locked to?
For future reference, maybe lock it to something that will hold up a little better.

You say that you have had bike stolen before, i know that since my bike got stolen (my dad was borrowing it and it got stolen from him) i have been a bit anal about what, where and how i lock my bike.

Yeah I got the same thing. Either way he just asked people to keep an eye out, not take the day off and scour the city. Relax.

Yeah, that might be the fact, I didnt read it that way? but what did s/he lock it to? a homeless person? a bush! a broom stick that was leaning against a wall? What I'm saying is it still doesnt change the fact that s/he wasn't being safe when it came to locking the bike up thats all. I do feel bad for this person and I am looking out for the bike BUT! I still think this person is not responsible one when it comes to owning a bike.

Well, I'm inclined to believe that (especially in a city like Philly, where everything gets stolen) OP locked his bike to something he thought was safe but turns out wasn't. I read a lot of stories like this too, & sometimes the victim is just a clueless jag-off. But it feels like people are jumping the gun here. I read it as the owner locking their bike up. The original post doesn't say anything to the contrary, so unless op comes on and says he tied up his bike with a licorice rope to a cab picking up a fare, I'm gonna think he would be a little smarter than that.

3 things, 1) I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong/mistaken about a post, I read it one way when it was another, I admitted that. 2) I havn't changed my mind about the guy being "slack" s/he was totally irresponsible with his bike and thats why s/he no longer has it. 3) My balls are here for your licking pleasure
