True enough I suppose Okay, with someone who (it seems clear) has no idea what they're doing and thinks it would be cool to ride brakeless... having an easy time stopping would be a plus.

As for her knees... I'm not sure I agree that gearing will ruin her knees on its own (as a championship winning softball player she probably runs, that seems more likely to cause her knee problems).

yeah, the knee thing is not the main issue though, the stopping is the main thing here if she decides to take that brake off

granted... hopefully she'll ride really slow (moreover, hopefully she won't take the brake off).

I was kidding about the photoshop, it was a joke that was trying to imply I couldn't believe that someone would do that, that video is funny.

it was a joke. not a very good one, and actually pretty inappropriate. still, having the brakes removed later is dumb as ****.brakeless = bad idea

i just think a custom bike deserves a 42mm chainline, even if it's at the expense of a color scheme.

I know I'm late on this, but Aerospokes are carbon composite, not carbon fiber. Unless you're talking about the front wheel, which is a Hed or Specialized tri-spoke, and not an Aerospoke.

I like Bottlerocket, then Rushmore. Everything else after that just sort of runs together, for me.

I liked Rushmore and The Royal Tennenbaums was good, but then it was like his style wore off on me. It's like all of his movies are too stylistically similar. Sort of like listening to RATT; all of the songs sound the same.

I commented on this immediately after he posted.

It's funny watching all these people appear on here and immediately start posting like crazy. Talking ish and all that, when they clearly have no idea what they are talking about.

The Wes Anderson conversation pops up once every 20 pages on this thread.

To the people flipping about her bike not being jackass, you are right but what IS jackass was the line "have the brake taken off". RTFM.

Yeah, that's true. Witness his employing the "arrospok" cliche. Also, it seems as though people think that "Aerospoke" is a general term for any aerodynamic carbon wheel.
