Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

interesting. i thought it was maybe meant for off road but it has road tires on it.

They're Avid BB7 Road disk brakes, they work with normal pull road levers.

I'm running a front one with a cyclocross fork on my Steamroller, it's awesome.

This bike hardly belongs in this thread. it's maybe one of the best bikes I've ever seen on this site...

FGG guy:

Yes, she's stock, yes she's for art, NO she's not been on the road (and wont) and YES she's beautiful.
art is subjective, but this is just ridiculous.

why would anyone buy a cheap bike and not ride it? it's not for the track aside from being lame it has brakes, so that's not what it means when sez it won't be on the road.

compact cannot b wall art, 2 ugly, langster cannot b wall art, 2 ugly & cheap even where art is subjective there can be fatal error as this ceems to b

daaamn, overall value of bike...$5, as in, gimme $5 and I'll pretend i didn't see yo ****teh ride. it's just a weak conversion but the brake over stem gives it a negative dollar value and a super negative function value

Agreed. It is also missing the stock pedals and has no chain. Why would you change out the pedals if you are not going to ride it?
