Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

That's an insane display of balance. My jaw dropped when the guy jumped (jumped!) from the seat to the bars while moving.

Indoor/artistic cycling has little to do with BMX or track bikes.

And it was there much before BMX:
- The first unofficial world championships were held in 1888...
- BMX originated in the state of California, United States in the late 1960s...

While impressive, this isn't new or novel, and it's definitely
not taking over BMX.

I don't care about how it compares to BMX or track bikes or anything else. Bottom line is that these people have some pretty amazing skills. Badass.

I want to see someone doing this stuff on a tandem. Pull a wheelie on a tandem, and do some of those spinning things - that would be one hell of a team......

i am sure this has been around way before bmx. and the gear ratio is probably about the same as a unicycle, so definitely not a track bike. i kinda cringe at this stuff and think of kevin bacon.

i saw a video of a guy doing stoppies in san fransisco on a mountain tandem with a blow up girl bungied to the back seat.
