Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bonus Useage for the Campy PB Wrench

The Campagnolo Peanut Butter Wrench... The coolest tool of all time. For those uninformed, it's really just a 15mm hex wrench, but it's kind of got a butter knife welded onto it. And it says, "Campagnolo". So, f**k, of COURSE it's worth $40! Anyway, for those of you in posession of this righteous tool, what "other" uses have you found for it? Here's a start:

a) They tighten and loosen bolts (duh).

b) They spread Peanut Butter, Jelly, Hummus, Pate, etc., but not Butter so well, cuz they lack a sharp edge. Oh well.

c) They work as a great incense burner, if you're a hippy like me. Or if your trying to seduce a potential lover, I suppose.

d) You can fling stuff like Wasabi Peas, or bolts, across the shop.

e) ???

That's a beautiful lugged steel frame. Did you build it up yourself? I think it's awesome that more females are getting into cycling. Um, can you stand over here for a minute so you block the wind? Thanks. OK...steeeeeaaady...steeeeeeaady....

They make a great SS freewheel remover, if it's not on too tight.

You mean to say that "Peanut Butter Wrench" is just a name?! I've been had. I'm writing a letter of complaint to Campagnolo.

you didn't want to stick your fingers down your throat, but used a bike tool instead- i hope you had some boiling water involved in that operation!

Dude, I saw you at IKEA last weekend. I was totally sick so I didn't say hi, but I did have a goofy beard and one of their measuring tapes on as a karate kid inspired headband. Maybe next time I'll be less shy and pass you a note saying I like you or something.
