Group buy option #2...bad news
Well gang the second option that I was working on seems to have fallen apart. The dealer is not setup with distributors that deal in FG components and was trying to find sources at prices that would allow us to offer a good deal. In the end he wasn't sure of the pricing or the amount of time to get parts or even if he could get some of the parts.
So in the end the Miche groupo is the only thing I have to offer at the moment...man that was a lot of work that just came crashing down. Very sorry to keep you strung along...but please think about the Miche offer.

Thanks for trying. I'm not interested in the Miche gruppo, so I was looking forward to seeing what this was going to be. It's ok, though, because I already have or have ordered most of the parts I'll need, but cheap extra parts are always good.

I was trying to get Sugino 75 and RD build kits together...there really was more interest in them anyway and full builds with bars and stems and wheels. Work on that.
The pricing I had was $375 for a Sugino 75 Crank, BB and ring, KMC chain, Soma cog, lock ring and seatpost, and either a Shimano 105 (for threaded) or Cane Creek S2 (for threadless) headset. Or $160 for the same with a Sugino RD crank and ring and a IRD BB. So go beat that and have the chance to add bars and stems and wheels. Then you will be a god....or not but you will have done better than me and that seems to be your goal.

If you're motivated to do something it would seem to make a lot more sense to organize something other than the buy that was just created. A couple dollars one way or the other isn't worth screwing up something that is already planned.

Why do you say sort of? That deal is set, it's time to order...go...go...go on that deal.
