Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

NYC pre-ESPI Polo Training!

Here it is, your official invitation... We're going to be playing polo on Thursday nights after work every week from now until the ESPI (27. - 28. April).

Everyone is invited and encouraged to come rip it up with us, especially those who want to play at ESPI but don't have a team together yet, or do have a team but haven't had a chance to play (m)any matches together. Newbies wanted, as well. Bring your mom, too.

Of course we will still be having our normal Sunday gameday... It survived the entire winter... I'm impressed. Let's keep it going!

More information, PM us, email us, send a carrier pigeon to the shop... whatever. See you on the court, ****ers.

some more non-malletcam pre-ESPI NYC polo action:
part of a short match: (4 min-unedited)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKuGUEEKTXI

most of a longer match: (9 min-unedited)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zM9Ge4o8A0

youtube always pixelates the hell out of any high-motion video i upload when it converts it to FLV, so... the footage is pretty chunky.

Hey.

Important bit about the ESPI. So important I am spamming it to multiple threads: opening night party is Friday night, but if you party too hard or can't make it to NYC until Saturday, please keep in mind that this tournament starts promptly at 10.00h. I know that kind of sucks and I'm not a morning person either, but the sun is going to go down at 20.00h no matter what, so we have to get this thing started on time.

Let's rip it up.

I am throwing out three custom bags for the winning team. They will be worth fighting for.
