Bottom bracket help italian bb sugino 75 cranks. help meh

I'm upgrading my stronglight cranks to sugino 75s and I need help figuring out a decent bb that wont brake the bank. I have one of those shimano UNXX cheap bottom brackets for now.

It's got an italian bottom bracket and gotta give me the right chainline with 120 hub. blah blah

Suggest square taper JIS bottom brackets for italian bottom brackets 109 mm spindle

I need somthing that won't break the bank. i'm terrible at this.

if i'm not reading this correctly then i'm sorry. why don't you just get italian threaded cups and buy the sugino 75 spindle? $5 for cups (lbs) and $30 for the spindle.

ahem, taper on the spindle is iso, not jis. a 107 jis is usually suggested to make up for the lack of fitting on the spindle fully or hey, why not go for a cheap campy 111? It'll be off by what, a mm, which is probably the best to hope for using the wrong spindle taper anyway.

I saw a 110 spindle Shimano sealed BB at my LBS yesterday. The only thing is that it's an English bb.

They make a UN 53 in 110 Italian thread. I have one on my bike right now. I actually need a slightly longer one. I was going to buy a Campy myself (see my other post regarding if the spindle is the same, it's not but it might work). The UN 53 is as good as anything else in my opinion. If you can use a 110, just get one. I'll sell you mine cheap. When I was searching for one on the web yesterday I came across a few. They are not as easy to find as the 115's but you can find them.

Yup, 75's are iso taper. Look at Miche BB's-- 110mm, english or italian and dirt cheap.
