Stolen Bike In Philly Update!!!

My bike was found!!! Thanks to all of you who kept an eye out for it. I got a call from somebody and the told me that a crackhead around the corner was selling my bike so he bought it. I'm going to pick up tomorrow or friday or something.I forgot to ask if the person was a bf member but if they are thanks a lot. If you get your bike stolen don't lose hope.

How much are you going to have to buy it back for? Good to hear it wasn't trashed.

Do you really want to get into a fight with one? I'm sure the $8.27 spents the crackhead asked for is more than worth not doing so.

Yeah I wouldn't want to get stabbed with a used hypodermic needle while tangling with some desperate junkie. I would have just bought it as well.

Congrats to Pitas on the recovery. Not to turn this joyous occasion into a "what's up with the rain" thread, but is it ever gonna get nice here? I presciently dropped my ride off at Bicycle Revolutions yesterday for some work.

I mean rain is rain (it happens) but for real, if i wanted to live in a place that wasnt going to break sixty degrees for almost all of april, i'd be living in toronto (and then i could rightfully post in the toronto fixed thread in its 20k+ post glory)

Congrats! Glad it worked out for you.

...and yes. Rain's getting old. Wanted to ride up to Center City at lunchtime, but don't want to come back to work with a wet ass. Rats.

Sweet on the recovery, what a rare event, awesome.

Wat is this rain you speak of? It miserably is only going to get to 75 today here (after a week of 85) and it is slightly cloudy. So I get to bust out the fire pit in the back yard tonight.
