Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Well, you need steel there to support all the stuff you got hung off that bike. My god. Two rear fenders is hot. I mean, you can never be too safe....utility bikes rule. Even better when they are SS/fixed.

Seriously, I'm in awe. I bet some choppers/bobs/street fighters weigh less than your bike there.....

Wow, just wow....

That's a fender and a rack, but it's still hot.

I have a ton of 'em, but they're in England. You really don't want one, anyway. They're not really stronger than ali, and they weigh a ton, and don't brake at all. Arseicles.

...BUT if they go out of true they can be a pain in the @ss to keep true since steel has a "memory".
