I can't find the picture now... but maybe you've seen it.

It was a Pista Concept powder coated white and said "concept" on the downtube. Powder coated white disc wheel in front and white tires.

+1, I saw some in a shop today, I think they had thick white stripes though, not all white.

thanks for the thread. i am in search of some replacements for my white rubinos, but can't find any at a decent price (got mine on closeout last year). one word of warning: they will stay white long enough for your fgg/velospace/etc photoshoot, after that you might as well have something in light grey.

i just put a white rubino pro on in the rear and it seems to be as sturdy and tuff as any of their other colors.

Vittoria Open Pave's, not as cheap as the rubinos, but they come in green striped and ride very nice indeed. Just got a pair recently so I don't know about how they hold up, but they are billed as racing tires for rough all weather conditions so I'm hoping it's pretty good. One odd thing is they come 700x24 instead of the usual 23...

It will get dirty, but it will still be white -- or off white. Which is fine. My bar tape was white at one point also =P

Apparently there's a thing with Portland bike shops and not stocking the white Rubinos... Every other available color but white at everywhere I see them stocked. Ahh **** it, I'll just get some Gatorskins and go back to 25's.

I wanted orange tires once. Krylon spray paint worked fine and the tires lasted another year before the tread wore through. So get white paint.
