Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yes! Oh God I LOVE Sandstorm! How did you know?! Takes me back to my days of playing Leg Roid Revolution in the arcade.

It makes you gain weight in your legs and then you can't wear super nudie skinny cut jeans without making them look like denim leggings.

Which sucks because I like LOOKING GOOD.

It helps me stand up and hammer on hills when on my geared bike, instead of shifting down and being all slow and spinny like I used to.

And just in case anyone cares, today was the most beautiful day for riding we've had in central Texas for a year. 40 miles down empty country roads this morning. Yum!
