Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Zero Stack Headset ?

http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?c...ess%20Headsets

is this for "integrated" headsets or can you use it on any frame ?

Thanks.

Looks pretty integrated to me, but I could be wrong.

It is possible, though unlikely, they did at one point but they need IS integrated headsets now which are not the same thing.

Those exist too but that is not what this is. In fact thanks to that top cap it has a rather substantial stack height.

Just to clarify

Our 510H, 516H,and 526H MTB frames do use the zero stack headset system. All our road bikes use the I S type headset.

Yeah, that was a "Huh." not a "Huh?". I just never realized that the headset on those OCRs was non-integrated.

there's campagnolo standard integrated, cane creek standard integrated, and zero stack. which one you can use depends on how your head tube is machined, as each one uses a slightly different dimensions.

You know, I say my friend today who works at a bike shop and he was selling this Giant OCR to this girl who was test riding it, and I was like "Integrated headset???" We were just like "hmm..." Didn't realize it was just a zero stack. I like those.
