White Tyres
Hey, I am looking for a set of white tyres. Just wondering which brand sells them? Not white stripes but completely white.

Why not just get Grey tires. You know that's what they'll look like anyway inside of the first 5 miles.

I just rode mine in the rain, and they don't look too bad. Not as grey as grey tyres would .

Oh I understand all to well the desire to color match things, although white is my least favorite color to do it with because it's so hard to keep it looking nice. I love colored tires, but they tend to be both expensive and skinny, so I learn to love black.

Expensive? The Rubinos are about the cheapest reasonable tyres you can get, at least over here. I would've totally bought black if the white was gonna cost more. Also, for me, (relatively) skinny is good. My fast geared roadie wears 21's, everything else 23 and 25, pretty much.

I don't think he's looking for 650s?
On the grip thing, I have an observation. I did my first ride on my new Rubinos today, and I observed that I was able to lock the back wheel very easily (SS - two brakes). Now, it was wet, I hadn't ridden the bike for a while on the old tyres, and I mostly ride vintage bikes with centrepulls or old skool sidepulls, so these Shimano double pivot sidepulls are gonna be more powerful. All these things will contribute, but still, I really noticed how easily I was skidding.
