Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Good Used shop in NYC?

I'm living in New York for part of this summer to do an internship. I was wondering what some good used shops are in the city? I didn't have a way to bring my bike with me. I'd like to pick up a beater to ride around and feel comfortable leaving locked up.

As far as spending...I don't know. I'm probably not trying to spend more than 200. I've found that 200 can get you a solid amount of used bike.
