Price Check: Suntour Superbe Pro track hubset
A LBS has a set in great condition that I saw sitting in the back, I was wondering what a decent deal would be on them.

I paid $375 for mine like 2 years ago. Supposedly they were only laced once but never ridden, who knows though for sure. Still, I feel now like I got taken. At the time, I had decided on Suntour SBP and I probably would have paid much more. In my opinion they are one of the most beautiful hubs ever made.

A decent price would probably anywhere under 250. Superbes are a little nicer than high flange DAs but not that nice.
New high flange DAs start at 210 USD a pair (https://www.businesscycles.com/trcomp.htm#hubs) and I would say that you don't want to pay too much above this.
Yes they are rare, yes they're not made any more, yes they're NJS, yes they spin like butter but it can be a pain to find hub spares and at the end of the day they're functionally little different to the DAs.

They are worn out now, you should sell them to me for $100 =)
He wanted too much, so I had to pass. They are not worth THAT much more to me than a new set of DA hubs.

Bump.
I have a set of built up wheels with Suntour Superbe Hubs if anyone is interested PM me. I'd rather sell to a fellow BF member than the masses on eBay.
