Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Soma 456 Track Drops

Has anyone used these?

I found 'em on one bike on FGG (here) but I thought I'd ask & see if anyone has actually used them.

I liked them when I checked them out, but I went for modolos instead.

I'm curious about these, as well. Anybody have any experience with them? Pics?

I have these on my bike right now. Managed to bend both sides of them a little while going uphill.

either they kinda suck or I am some muscular beast of a cyclist, I'm going for the former.

i think you should go the latter

i have them...they're real nice, and good for everything except using on a track bike, unless you like to have your back vertical to the banking.

they suck for going up long long hills tho...

I've got them, they seem sturdy enough, but they are the only set of track bars I've ever had my hands on (I got them to ride in a track competition, but with the price of gas being what it is, I've decided not to go, so I'm just riding them around town.

trackstar10, I'm curious what you mean by your comment about good for everything but the track? Seems like your back's orientation has as much to do with your stem as your bars, and the geometry seems similar to other track bars...
