Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

who made your top tube pad?

Do you like it? I'm looking at getting one to prevent scratches.

ShopGentei. Oliver made them under the pen name "Sly & Robby" - a brand he started while living in JP. I like the punk pad and the circle jerks pad as well [to go with your group sex vans shoes]

$25 shipped if I remember correctly.

The only thing I dislike about frame pads is that they always get bunched up when I skid. Sometimes when I hocky skid, I use the inside of my leg on the TT and it becomes a constant game of re-adjusting the pad.

I really like the woodgrain saddle and polka-dot frame pad. Makes it look like some extinct bird....

Vinyl tape with a bit of thin styrofoam padding beneath it. If you're careful, it can look quite nice.

jesus built my top........

i meant hotrod, really!

speaking of top tube pads....sure the fixed gear kids have used them to death but i think they work for almost all bikes if you live in a city where you lock up to crap all the time....they are also great for when you live in a house with stairs

Yeah man, I took my road bike out last night and I'm pissed it got all scuffed up when I locked it up. I might put a TTP on it too. Totally non-OCP, but whateves. Utility > Fashion
