    couple of pics from the cave of wonders

    in the FAAAR warehouse of the shop I work at are some pretty cool things, but my boss will not sell them, or let me take them down and play with them, but i did atleast get to take a few pics

    I wish I could talk him out the front wheel on that prologue. I'm having a hard time finding a 24" road wheel.

    he did that to me too.. except i had made a 3+ hour trip down there..
    and then he actually got mad when i told him i couldn't afford anything at "wednesday price" (2x what he had quoted me on tuesday)

    what a grouch. that basically translates into i dont want to sell this to YOU . but i guess someone needs to keep a pristine stash so there will be some cherry vintage track bikes left in a few years once the fixie craze dies down.

    I guess it's up to the owner if he wants to hang onto or sell his pristine stuff. FWIW, I was into paintball for awhile and am hanging onto a pristine minicocker with very low serial number until I find the right buyer. Not in a hurry. Doesn't make me evil.

    you know if he sold those schwinn madisons there would be a very good chance they would have a nice bright deep v wheelset within a month. not that i give a **** about that, but that might shed some light into why he is saving them.
