Raleigh Competition Frame Worth
 

I am in neg. for buying this frame set. It comes with fork, headset and BB but I want to know if this is really worth $250 because this is what he wants. looking at the lugs gives reason for the price but I asked if he will knock off $100-150 off. What's your opinion? Thanks.

I got the same frame for $10. My girlfriend rides it now. It is a nice frame, but not $250 nice.

with the same lugs too?

Mosquito lugs, right? I am pretty sure it is the exact same frame.

Edit: They are cool lugs, though.

I used to have that exact same bike. I bought mine new in 1973 for $325. A collector may pay $250 but it's definitely not worth that kind of money just to turn it into a fixed gear.

nice 531 frame, it might fetch $250 or better on ebay, but I wouldn't pay that much for it.
