is this black one a 47cm frame?
if anyone has pics of the small frame setups- such as the 47 and the 50cm?
I ride a 48.5 cm frame right now- not sure if the 47 or the 500 would fit me better

I'm 5'7" with a 30" pant inseam and it fits me pretty well.

The black one pictured with my cream one is indeed a 47cm. Let me know if you want more pics of it.

hey i need advice, i have a 50cm i havent ridden yet because of the toe overlap. im riding in heavy traffic and need to be able to make lots of quick turns in and out. i cannot risk hitting my wheel and falling over in front of a bus or something. i replaced the stock pedals & clips with MKS-Sylvan Lites (like a GR9, but smaller) and MKS mini clips. its still overlapping about 20mm.
so i know i could: get a 650c front wheel, replace the fork (although if i wanted an ugly straight fork i would have gotten a Fuji track) or i was thinking about trying bulletproof 140mm bmx cranks. obviously the bulletproofs are the cheapest solution. i measured and 150's wont even cut it. but do you guys think its going to be weird riding on 140mm cranks?
i picked this bike up strictly to leave locked up at night/in shady areas, so the fact that im already sinking money into it is bumming me out. any info or suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks

I have ridden with a lot of overlap for years in downtown Seattle and yeah I have to weave in and out at 90 degrees between cars to get anywhere during rush hour, it doesn't seem to be a problem. If I see the overlap coming up as a problem I can usually time the turn a little different, or I point my foot down in a pretty incorrect position but such that my toe is not sticking forward, or else I hop skip a little to reposition the pedals. A nice low friction skid can help keep your pedals in a good spot while you approach the actual turning location with a little bit of speed or more. The goal being of course, for the right foot forward on a right turn and a left foot forward on a left turn, or somewhere thereabouts.

The stock pedal setup is crap. Just go with some wellgo track pedals with clips and straps. This setup will still be cheap, and while it may seem weird to be in the cages at first, you will appreciate the advantages after a couple of days in them.

Then why did you get a track bike? haha
My point was to get some pedals with foot retention because it is essential with a fixed gear drive train.
Platforms are for beach cruisers.
