Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Good to know. Shipping was only $5 and change to Seattle though and that's worth it to me not to have to go to Bellevue. It would have been free if I would have gotten only the fork but I needed a few headset parts.

I ordered last night and they e-mailed me a shipping confirmation at 8:48 this morning. Pretty awesome.
I hear you on the price thing though. Aspire has the Phil cogs for $8 more, plus there's WA sales tax to pay.

just an observation; me and a friend built up both a pista and a bareknuckle in one night between drinking beers. As long as you dont build your own wheels and need to cut your own fork, it really shouldn't take more than a few hours, hardest part would be popping in the BB and cranks, which aren't time consuming at all if you have the tools.

if you are so hard up for time that a few hours of work will take a year to complete, maybe you should think about buying a car rather than a 800$ bike to cut down on your commuting time....
