Or a similer tool, like the makino that can handel a 17t cog and lockring. I saw the makino for 118 and that's still pretty rich for my blood.

I think I'll just drop dollars on the shimano whip and lockring tool.

PS: Freeskihp, where'd you find it for that price?

It doesn't get any cheaper than free...

But seriously, if you are poor enough to be concerned about finding the cheapest pricie on an EAI supertool, then you are probably better off not wasting your money on it. Buy some more bling bike parts instead.

Can't you just impress the babies at the KFC by pretending to take a call on your cell phone?

Where can you get that for $20? I haven't seen it much cheaper than $35.

I have one of the EAI tools, which I think is the same as the Makino tool. Got it for forty five bucks on ebay. Even that's a lot to pay for a 15mm wrench, which is mostly what you'll use it for. And honestly I prefer an actual chainwhip, and the lockring wrench part kind of sucks as well. It is really pretty though.

I was really just intrested on being able to leave more tools at home, but if it doesn't work as well as the individual tools...how nice would it be to just have one simple tool? No moving parts, like foldout multitools. I can dream.

No hex keys either. Really I don't see the purpose of this unless you are racing and need to change cogs all the time away from home. Even then the lack of anything bigger than 15 limits it's usefulness.

Just get a park mt-1 if you hate moving parts and a separate 15mm.

Pyramid also makes a really crappy chainwhip/lockring/15mm/16mm thing if you must have all your fixed specific stuff in one tool.
