Radius Cranks on Keirinculture.com

Anybody know anything about these? According to Stratton's page:
"Radius is a popular brand in Japan owned by a professional keirin racer. These cranks have a 144mm bolt pattern so you can use any NJS chainring. They take a 110.5 bottom bracket."
They seem like an inexpensive alternative to Sugino 75s to me. I'll most likely pick up a set when I get money.

that thought had occurred to me since his frames tend to be kind of high priced. are there other cheap track cranks that work with 144 rings that i'm not aware of?

and the chainring bolts to the front, not back. Otherwise, they don't look too great.

seems like a good niche, and a product i would like to buy. i don't need really nice track cranks, but i would still like to go with 144 bcd chainrings.
it would be nice if sugino, or even a company like iro, made their lower end "track" cranks using the standard bcd.

Unless you plan on racing I don't see the point of 144. There are widely available 130mm 1/8" rings and you can get much much cheaper 3/32" ones. If you do plan on racing these look like a great option and an amazing way to stretch out the usefulness you can get from a cheapo track bike.

add $45 for a chainring and it doesn't look like much of a bargain to me.
