Tahini is crushed sesame seeds and goes into hummus. Are you eating just tahini? Or do you mean hummus made with tahini?
Baby carrots are dumb, in my opinion. Buy a peeler and save yourself some money. Baby carrots are overpriced since SUV driving moms and college girls with eating disorders just HAVE to have them.

Granola bars and a banana.
Victory St. Boisterous Kellerbock is also the world's perfect post-ride showerbeer. East End Witte is a close second (brewed by a cyclist, for cyclists).

The first time I went out on a club ride with roadies I bonked and had to stop at a pub for snacks. Pork scratchings and a beer did the trick.

The new mediterranean market across from my house means fresh pita, hummus, and tabbouleh after every ride!
I usually always make a smoothie after a good ride.

Made by the local deli/market known as Holy Land.
and as for baby carrots, I'm not sure what your talking about as far as saving money, because for the amount of carrots i eat, I make out way better with the bag of organic baby carrots i have than I would buying larger variety.
There is a mediteranean market across the street from me that I havent checked out yet because of laziness/busyness since moving into my new digs. Maybe I'll head over for some pita bread today. Too bad holy land isn't across the street

dates are a during ride snack for me. Also I am a date snob now that my parents live in UAE and supply me with kilos of saudi, omani and emirati dates of various cultivars and states of dryness. I can't even eat north american dates now because I have been so spoiled.
