Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Fixed Gear Stolen in Philly.

My friend had her bike stolen sometime Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning from the
Fairmount area of Philadelphia.
It was her daily ride.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

my friends just had their bikes stolen from out front their house around the art museum. near 26th. i think this was thrusday morning.

the one bike was an "outback" that was an odd green color. Its not a single speed.

Watch you bikes if you are in this area!

I too live on 26th. There have been a bunch of small thefts in recent weeks. My one friend has had his saddle and seatpost stolen twice. The girl down the street had her wheels taken. If you can bring it inside whenever possible.

and what was the bike that was taken?
