Going to Paris, France

I'm heading over to Paris at the end of summer for a week.

Though I will be doing the common tourist things, I would like to visit some shops when I have some spare time. Has anyone ever been or can recommend any shops that would be worth a visit?

Thanks in advance.

Yup, there was the search function which I didn't employ.

Well, if anyone else is looking for some answers as well, here are the threads I found:
1. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ighlight=paris
2. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ighlight=paris
3. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ighlight=paris
4. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ighlight=paris

So now, maybe an update if anything else has opened up or anything you think would be great to visit that is off the beaten path (doesn't have to be bike related), reply. Thanks a lot.

Want to blow a fortune look for shops near the Louvre, just adjacent the Seine and along the Champ d' Ellysees. Mid range prices go to rue de Rivoli ( near the Tuilleres) and for us cheap skates go Blvd. St. Germain ( Left bank.) or Blvd. St. Michael-aslo left bank} _. No cycling?
