Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

anyone find any good spoke deals?

I am in the process of buying dt swiss db spokes for a wheelset.

What's the best price I can get for a box of 72?

I've looked around but maybe someone knows of a sweet deal.

Best deal I know is ebay seller dave_ornee who usually has lots of 72 Sapim DB spokes in your choice of up to 3 sizes for $30 plus $10 shipping. If someone knows a better deal I'd love to hear it as I've got rims and hubs waiting to be turned into a wheelset.

I bought a set of these for a surly/velocity fusion wheel I built, ordered them on Wed, got them Sat morning. 18 bucks times 2 for 40 spokes and silver colored brass nipples. Not horribly cheap, but you get what you pay for. I also bought the competition black nipples from him as well, and he combined shipped everything!

that's a buck a spoke plus shipping. I can do better at my LBS since tax on 72 spokes is cheaper than shipping.
