drifting has roots in japan.
fixed gear culture has roots in japan.
fixed gear is 'hip' for bike geeks, as is drifting for car geeks.
fast and furious 4: alleycats and racing caps?

Fixed on the streets in Jamaica...not because of a 'street culture', but because that's all there were there and that's all you grew up riding.
