Rim suggestions for 36 hole?
Basically I am looking for non-machined sidewall 36 hole black rims. I don't want Deep Vs, so I might end up with Open Pros or RR 1.1 despite them having machined sidewalls. I REALLY wish they made the Open Pro CD in 36 hole, or the RR 1.2 in 36 hole, but I can't find em sadly. If I went with the RR's I would want to take the decals off the rims, how hard are they to take off? Any other suggestions on black non-machined rims that come in 36 hole?

I think CD's it is.
Flat black group buy IRO frame, black Sugino Messenger cranks/chainring w/ white lettering, gold Suzue ProMax hubs, Black Cane Creek IS6 headset w/ white lettering, Black Shimano 105 brake w/ white lettering.
I guess I should probably go with black spokes, white seat, and a gold seat post.

It's supposed to reduce wet weather braking distance by 30%, the coating lasts for a couple thousand miles of consistent brake use most people say. I'm not quite prepared to spend $100/rim for the black ceramics. I also like the looks of the CD's more. You can get a good idea of the difference at this site as it has a zoomed picture of each rim

I switched between CD and a regular Open Pro rim when I flatted and, rather than change the tube, just borrowed a wheel from another bike. Not only does the CD look significantly better, but the stopping distance is also decreased by several feet, even in dry weather. So it's not just marketing, it really works.
