I went cream and black, because I think guitars that are that scheme are classy and I miss my Stratocaster.

you want vintage? cream tubes, hunter green/brg lugs. pinstripe lugs in gold. Brooks leather saddle, bar tape. done.

Cream is nice. Lugged cream with accents, delicious. Red, Brown, Hunter Green and Powder Blue is nice.

Here's a conversion I'm putting together, went for a vintage look too. My friend keeps bothering me to outline the lugs in gold as well...
