Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Can Philly Help A Brother Out?

Not sure if this is the right forum for such a question, but I'm reasonably desperate, so I'd figure I'd ask anyway:

Long story short: I broke up with my longtime girl and I'm moving out of our apartment. I'm planning to move to Portland sometime later this year (hopefully October/November...but definitely before the year is out). I don't want to sign a yearlong/6mo lease in Philly for obvious reasons. Is anyone in the market for a short-term roommate for a few months (maybe you have an extra bedroom, want someone to help with the rent, you're lonely and want some company, etc)? I'm a clean, quiet guy, late 20s, don't smoke/drink, I'm a damn good cook, like to ride bikes (although that goes without saying). Let me know if this sounds interesting to anyone. Thanks people.
