Where can get a sexy 1" threadless lugged fork?
I tried eBay but came away unimpressed. Is there a market for new forks of this design? I really like sugarpill's (his is threaded however). I need threadless.

You can do that with the threaded to threadless adaptors. You basically make a threaded stem by bolting the threadless stem to the adaptor. You can flip it either way. It doesn't look as nice as a real classic threaded stem. What you can do, is use spacers for strictly cosmetic purposes.

1" threadless?
how long is your headtube?
if you ride a small bike, get one of the bikeworks chrome forks (the longest one) at cut off the threads. instant threadless fork.

My real motivation to get a new fork is the fact that my current cro-mo unicrown is so flex that it is scary. I run a front brake and under heavy braking, the hub moves back 1.5" from the normal location. Not only that, but it vibrates back and forth because the friction on the rim surface/pads is not perfectly consistant. It's alarmingly bad.
In comparison my other bike (roadie) has a full carbon fork that is 1/2 weight and it doesn't flex enough to notice.
So I guess my main criteria is not really about looks (or the fact that it is lugged), but that it is (1) drilled for brakes and (2) is stiffer than my current stock Pista fork.

I am also thinking about a new fork for my pista. The Bikeworks one looks like a decent option to me, even though its rake (43mm) is greater than the stock pista (28mm). The Soma fork is also tempting.
What fork is on the bike in this pic? I assume that the bike is a recent pista (05-07) so correct me if i'm wrong. Pic is from the front page of an LBS here.

It's a replacement, could very well be the BikeWorks NYC straight-blade (threaded).
